Leadership

About the Board

Our Board of Directors is made up of dedicated volunteers who share a deep commitment to our mission and values. Guided by the credit union philosophy of “people helping people,” they help create a cooperative environment where members are always at the heart of every decision.

The Board consists of nine elected members, each serving three-year terms. These volunteers provide strategic leadership, establish policies, uphold financial integrity, and ensure that the Credit Union operates safely, soundly, and in the best interests of our members.

Together, they uphold the highest standards of governance, integrity, and community stewardship.

Serving on the Board or a committee is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our members and the success of the Credit Union. We welcome individuals who are:

  • Passionate about community service
  • Committed to cooperative values
  • Interested in shaping the future of member-owned financial services

If you’re ready to contribute your time and talent, we encourage you to consider volunteering.

Board Elections

Elections for Directors are held every year at our Annual Meeting, giving each member the opportunity to vote and help choose the leaders who will best represent their interests. Members are encouraged to participate, learn about the candidates, and cast a vote to shape the future of the Credit Union.

We invite those interested in volunteering for the Board to learn more about the election process and to consider putting their name forward to help guide Finger Lakes Federal Credit Union toward continued success.
